Job Description

The primary functions of this position include project and program management, client management and team leadership. The position requires a sufficient breadth and depth of expertise in Panacea's capabilities to lead multi-disciplinary team to successfully deliver integrated client solutions. The General Manager reports to the CEO, Panacea Infotech Pvt. Ltd.
The Primary responsibility of the General Manager includes:

Client Interaction

• Understand and address the client's business drivers and priorities
• Understand Clients culture, capabilities, team structure and decision-making processes and manage peer-level client relationships (expectations, communications, escalation, etc.)
• Ability to lead discussions with business users and interface with multiple 3rd parties and track resolution and closure.
• Ability to coordinate work with remote team and provide Information / clarification as required.

SLA Formation and Compliance

• Understands the dynamics of SLAs and help in the formation of SLA model between the two business units.
• Can guide and lead the team members towards compliance of the SLAs, collect data around SLA compliance, measure performance and initiate corrective measures proactively if non-compliance is observed.

Scope Identification and Estimation

• Effectively set client expectations around the need for scope Management.
• Present alternative approaches for estimates and scope decisions that meet client's objectives and drivers.
• Understands basic statistics behind estimation; work with probability levels to achieve desired level of confidence in the estimate.

Program Management

• Clarify and enforce accountability and goal-setting for tracking performance.
• Participate in integrated project planning and estimation exercise.
• Identify and manage program risks and issues.
• Establishes and maintains program communications.
• Ensures the execution of project reviews.

Quality

• Understand the various factors that influence the overall quality of the service delivery and document the best practices and lessons learned from projects.
• Ensures traceability and consistency through the use of right processes and project management tools: scope matrix, Work Breakdown Structure, estimate, project plan, and resource plan.

Mentoring

• Provide mentorship to Associates and Sr. Associates.
• Provide opportunities to grow leaders within the team.

Support Leadership Activities

• Participate in recruitment and hiring activities, including Interviewing and conducting hiring exercises.
• Mentors and manages the careers of up to twenty individuals, including compensation, feedback.
• Participates in, and assists with, company events such as training and internal initiatives.
• Leads progress and quality reviews of Panacea's Support projects and products.

Candidate Profile

• Has managed web development team in onshore-offshore mode.
• Experience in ISO/CMM based organization / process.
• Has a Good communication, interpersonal, presentation skill.
• Has good understanding of SDLC performance metrics.
• BE / MCA / PG in Comp Sc desired.
• Prior US experience is a must.

Minimum Experience: 10 years

Maximum Experience: 20 years
